December 1st, 2017 – The Mid Atlantic .90 Series revealed its 2018 Schedule on Thursday Night via Facebook Live. The series will consist of 10 events on a 5 weekend double event schedule and will feature 4 weekends before the PC Richards or Lucas Oil Series competes at the same event the following weekend. Over the past 4 seasons the series has seen major support from VP Racing Fuels / Roadrunner Race Fuels as its title right sponsors and this will continue into 2018 with the help from Direct Cabinet Sales also jumping on board for the season as title right sponsor. With those two on board the series will feature a guaranteed payout of $1,000 or more to all members of the series. We’ve also added a few bonus incentives from Ken Moses Race Transmissions, Wheelz Up Radio & Joe Eckels Rockaway Racing that will award prizes to the Best Losing Packages at each event in each class.

In other big news the series has signed on with The Contingency Connection out of Tennessee for 2018 to bring the contingency awards to an all time high. President Rob Keister said “My Main goal for 2018 was to make the contingency for the racers bigger and better and with Contingency Connection apart of the series this season I can only say that the sky is the limit”. With the Contingency Connection on board this will offer the event winners and some random racers prize book totally thousands of dollars towards everyday parts and pieces for their racing operations to help the racers save.

The series will kick off the season at Atco Dragway the weekend before the PC Richards National Open on April 28th & 29th for the 6th annual Northeast Shootout. After a few weeks off to celebrate Mother’s Day, the series travels back to Maple Grove Raceway after a year hiatus for the 10th Annual Sportsman Circuit Shootout on May 19th & 20th which is the weekend before the Lucas Oil Series event at the Grove. As the NHRA National & Divisional Schedules heat up the series takes about a two month break before ramping back up at Atco Dragway on July 28th & 29th for the 6th Annual Mid-Summer Shootout the weekend before the Lucas Series invades the same 1/4 mile facility the following weekend. The series then travels down I-95 to Cecil County Dragway on August 11th & 12th for the prestigious Ronnie “Uncle Buck” Pig Roast and .90 Event which will be celebrating its 25th year in 2018. It all comes to a conclusion right back at Cecil County on September 22nd & 23rd for the 6th Annual .90 Finale.
