After completing Race # 1 & 2 at historic Atco Dragway the Mid Atlantic .90
Association moved to another historic venue and Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton,
Pa. Maple Grove has been a staple on the Mid Atlantic .90 Association schedule
since 2006 and offers a great warm-up race for those running the Lucas Oil Event
the following weekend. In 2013 Mother Nature forced both events to be moved to
late August but, a great car count welcomed the association when they returned. On
Saturday local bracket racer Ash Senft took down Rookie Mike Cress in Super
Comp. In Super Gas Frank Volpe defeated a red-lighting Derek Clark and in Super
Street Frank Quarno Jr. got the best of Keith Mayers. On Sunday past MASCA
Champ Jeff Livezey Jr. came out victorious over Mac Dougherty. In Super Gas Paul
Schenberger took home his first MASGA victory over Matt Schurman and in Super
Street is was Lyn Haun taking her pink nova to victory over Mayers once again. The
2014 version will feature a jammed packed weekend as all three series will take
center stage on Saturday & Sunday along with the Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail
on both days to give racers a chance to run 4 races in one weekend. Gates will open at 8am both days with Racing beginning at 9am.
