The Mid Atlantic .90 Association will close out it’s 2018 season at Cecil County Dragway on September 22nd & 23rd. Gates will open at 5pm (Weather Permitting) Friday the 21st for the Cecil County Friday Night Street & Test & Tune Night and parking will be in the field / tower side of the track. There is a fee to park on Friday Night and Spectate ($10.00 to watch and $15 to T&T). There is a make-up Cecil County Street Car Shootout Event on Saturday the 22nd and I believe they have certain spots that are reserved for them but, will check with Jimmy after Yellow Bullet is over. Gates will remain open till about 11pm on Friday and re-open at 8am on Saturday with racing starting at 9am. On Saturday the .90 crew will be with the Street Car Shootout event so to save on time and to get us done a little quicker we WILL GO to 1 time shot and into eliminations. I look at it as long as the weather is good; a lot of you have data from the Race a few weeks ago along with the Lucas Oil Event. The SCSO events are known to be a very long day and sometimes run into the night, so just trying to prevent it being a long day and that we can finish the event knowing championships are on the line and I would hate to see a race cut short.
As always, Gate fee is $30.00 to the track and I believe $10 or $15.00 per day for crew and $80.00 paid to Rob Keister per day. Based on 28 cars it is $1,000 and more cars equals more cash to win along with Contingency from Comp Cams, Auto Meter, Meziere, Lucas Oil and on Saturday Melling Performance will be giving a GC to the winner and Sunday Richmond Gear will be giving a $200 GC to the winners. ANYONE IS ALLOWED TO COME RACE WITH US!! You win or Runner-Up the dues for membership are taken out. You must pay Rob before 1st round or you will be taken off the ladder. Once racing is complete we will have a Racers BBQ that all racers & family are allowed to attend. Sunday the gang will run Race # 9 of the season with gates opening at 8am, Juniors will run their eliminations to complete before the .90 crew hits the track for Q1 along with the Summit Series Bracket Race that day. We hope to see you all come out for one final event before we close things up for the end of the season. If you have any questions please reach out to Rob Keister at Rekeister@aol.com or 856-332-2851
