After over a month off from action the Mid Atlantic .90 Association kicks back into action at Cecil County Dragway on Father’s Day Weekend of June 17 & 18th, 2017. The series kicked off at Atco Dragway in early April with 3 different winners on both days of action. Steve Everett Sr. (SC), Hank Smith (SG) & Jimmy Stack (SST) lead the points going into Cecil County and Race # 3 & 4.

Gates will open on Friday Night the 16th at 5pm and racing starting at 6pm for those of you who might want to get a couple of test shots in before Saturday. Gates will open at 8am on Saturday the 17th with time runs beginning at 10am. The staging lanes will be open for tech at 9am but, NO FREE TIME RUNS MAYBE TAKEN before the 10am time shot. This is due to qualifying points are awarded to racers and allowing additional time runs will allow some racers to get dialed in easier than others and make it an uneven playing field. As always two qualifying shots will be completed (weather permitting) and the fields will be set on a ladder with the higher qualifying car getting lane choice for that round only.

Once racing is completed for Saturday and Race # 3 we invite all racers and families over to my pit for a FREE Father’s Day BBQ put on by the Association as a Thank You for attending and supporting the series. On Sunday, the series kicks off with Race # 4 and a celebration for all Dad’s on Father Day because honestly what else would a Dad want…..to do something for themselves and go racing. Gates open once again at 8am. Junior Dragsters kick things off at 8:30am and complete eliminations before the big cars hit the track at 10am. A Summit Series Bracket race will join the .90 Series on Sunday and any racers are more than welcomed to “Double-Up” and get some laps in if they wish.

Gate fee is $10.00 for Friday Night to watch & park (We will park on the tower side out in the grass), $30.00 for Driver and $12.00 for Crew at the gate on Saturday & Sunday with $75.00 to be paid to Rob Keister at his trailer to get registered for the .90 series. Payouts start at 3rd round loser and based on 26 cars the payout is $1,000 to win. If you win or runner-up and are a non-member your dues will come out ($75) and you will become a member. Any questions feel free to hit up Rob Keister at Rekeister@aol.com or 856-332-2851.
